Geriatric Trauma Care: Pitfalls, Practices, and Improvements
National and local experts will address timely and frequently problematic conditions for elderly trauma patients. Lectures will include a variety of subjects, including management of injuries and complications ensuing from falls and motor vehicle accidents, anticoagulation use in the elderly, and navigating the challenging task of effectively managing pain in geriatric patients.
