Advocate Health Care is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and must meet the ACCME’s requirements for Continuing Medical Education, including identification and resolution of conflicts of interest for all individuals in a position to control the content of an educational activity prior to the meeting.


Who: Anyone who has the potential to influence the content of a continuing medical education activity. This includes, but is not limited to, planning committee members, presenters, panel members, moderators, and case discussion leaders.


When: Disclosure forms should be updated annually or within 30 days of acquiring or terminating a relevant financial relationship. A financial relationship is defined as "those relationships in which the individual benefits by receiving a salary, royalty, intellectual property rights, consulting fee, honoraria, ownership interest (e.g., stocks, stock options or other ownership interest, excluding diversified mutual funds), or other financial benefit."
